Vincent Danjean

Head of the Cyberspace and New Technologies Laboratory - INTERPOL Innovation Centre

Vincent is an international civil servant since 2003 and until 2018 as INTERPOL’s Information Security Manager. In 2009, he played a pivotal role in establishing and managing the INTERPOL Computer Emergency Response Team. Since 2018 Vincent changed his career path to take more of a proactive role in operational police work as the Head of the Cyberspace and New Technologies Laboratory within the INTERPOL Innovation Centre. The primary focus of his team is to accompany member countries in innovating and in testing the applied use of emerging technologies. Vincent has a strong passion for collaborating with international teams on cutting-edge projects, often assuming roles as a project board member or as technical advisor to effectively address and harmonise the requirements of law enforcement agencies across the globe.

Vincent's educational background includes a degree in engineering with a specialisation in satellite communications. His career history predominantly revolves around management positions and consultancy in security as well as in technology. Always willing to be close to the concerns of operational staff in law enforcement, Vincent takes great pleasure in delivering training and operational support to member countries across the globe. Vincent and his wife are proud of their two grown-up daughters.
