Legal and Policy Officer - E-evidence and Cybercrime; European Commission; Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs (DG HOME), Unit for the Security in the Digital Age

I am a multilingual, public international law and international relations expert with experience in the public sector, private legal practice and publishing. In the course of my work, I conduct research, deliver legal and policy advice and contribute to legislation and policymaking in the area of fighting cybercrime. I gathered most of my professional experience in the Ministry of Justice of Hungary working in the area of EU justice and home affairs and at the European Commission dealing with cybercrime-related matters including the fight against child sexual abuse and exploitation online and the exchange of electronic evidence. I am also a member of the European Commission’s negotiating team dealing with the ongoing process to negotiate a UN convention on the fight against cybercrime.
